I Only Eat Chocolate Ice Cream with Sugar Cone

Moving is a hassel, especially when you have tons of stuff that you can not just throw away. But I cannot wait to finish packing, get my car and hit the road with the boy. :)

During the moving process, I just do not have a good system to organize my clothes. I have to spend 10 minutes looking for the clothes I want everyday. I cannot wait to settle down in my new place and have a nicely organized closet.

As The Heat Wave Hits: Lace and Sheer Come to Rescue

The weather is ridiculously hot. The temperature is almost 100 degrees everyday. On top of that, the humidity worsens everything. I wish I could go everywhere naked. And I know that's impossible. Luckily, the popularity of the sheer and lace this summer provide fashion lovers both stylish looks and practicality.

Rompers Made A Come Back

Remember last summer, jumpsuits were everywhere to be seen. This summer, rompers are the must-haves. And they are even more feminine, colorful and detailed than before. I love this silky romper but I haven't really quite found a perfect top to match with it. A few more experiments are definitely required.
But I really love the ruffled design and the silky material.

If I showered in the river, would you come steal my clothes?

The other day the boy and I took a walk around the river. It was so beautiful and it reminded me of a story that I heard when I was little.

A goddess came from the heaven to take a shower in the river every night. One day, a young guy passed by the river and he fell in love with her the first sight. So he came back to the river every night. Then he decided to steal her clothes so he had a chance to talk to her. Eventually, they fell in love and got married.

The story may appear creepy to most people but at the same time I like its wicked romance.

There Is A Better Way To Take A Nap: Laying Out in The Sun

If you are going to sleep in in a day like this, you might as well do it outside. Although the sun probably will wake you up instead of putting you to sleep. But isn't that a nice way to wake up? At the beach, you can hear the ocean and the seagulls which I absolutely love. However, laying out in a backyard is also relaxing. I love feeling the warmth of the sun when it shines on my body, listening to the birds chirping and leaves rustling, and enjoying the breeze brushing against my skin.

We also visited the boy's little house his grandpa built for him. I cannot stop imagine how excited he would be being in that house when he was little.

Environment Reflects Your State of Mind: How can your home make you in a better mood?

I moved out from parents' house since I was fourteen. Ever since then, I have either lived in dorms or apartments. Now, I would really appreciate living in a house with a backyard or a garden. I have been dreaming about my future home and the interior design. Although owning a house of my own is not going to happen in the near future, I do not mind start gathering ideas from now. Maybe it can serve as a motivation for me to work harder and save up.

For me, the most important things in a house are the bathroom, dressing room, bedroom and study room. I have been paying attention to many architecture magazines and websites. It is amazing how you can create a spacious visual effect by utilizing different combinations of colors/materials and the arrangement of the furnitures.

I think one important element is the "open-space" design. Less clutters in sight naturally gives you a sense of openness and coziness. There is a good website where you can see many creative ideas about how to use space well. In case you are looking for inspirations for your own place, you can find it at Freshome
