On the third day of our road trip, we left the forested Colorado and entered the deserted Utah. It was amazing to see how the terrain unfolded itself as we drove on Hwy 50. As we entered Utah, the landscapes changed all of a sudden. Everything was yellow and red. The rock formations were breathtaking. The rocks looked like someone carved the patterns in the them and then painted over with some colors.
I had always wanted to experience what it was like to be in a desert. So we decided to stop briefly and take some photos.
Our car looked so tiny from top.
I got very excited when driving between those giant rocks.
These cliffs reminded me of Lion King!
